The Mission of the LPLT is to protect and preserve the lands under conservation easement in the Borough of Fenwick.  We do this by ecological assessment of existing resources and regular monitoring, wildlife habitat enhancement projects, invasive plant species eradication, supplying osprey nests and bird houses for at-risk species, beach clean-ups, educational activities, and more. We have been able to do this because of your generous support. Fenwick is in a critical location at the mouth of the Connecticut River and the Long Island Sound, and with climate change, we risk losing our vital habitats that so many species depend on for life. In the past year we have been busy working on two major projects and with your support we have accomplished a lot.
