Dear friend,

We are excited to announce that Lynde Point Land Trust was recently awarded the first ever Climate Resiliency Award from the Connecticut Green Building council for the Hepburn Family Preserve Living Shoreline project.  This group celebrates more than 20 years as a non-profit committed to accelerating the healthy, equitable, resilient and sustainable transformation of Connecticut's Built Environment.  The had a record number of great submissions from across the state this year and let us know our efforts stood out to the jury.  Several board members attended the awards ceremony with our project partner, GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. The Hepburn Dune project, championed and led by Andy Fisk, is part of the vital work we do in protecting, preserving and sustaining our beautiful community for future generations.  The resiliency offered by the dune project is a model for future projects here in Fenwick and all along the New England coast.

The Lynde Point Land Trust is committed to protecting the Borough's vulnerable shoreline and to preserving the land under conservation easement which contribute to Fenwick being a special and beloved place.

With sincere thanks to all of you who contributed from all of us on the Board of LPLT,

Ethel Davis, Martha Staniford, Candice Eggerss, Sue Webster, Amy Baird, Stephanie Thrower, Frank Conroy, Trish Finnegan, Dagan MnCann, Gordon Jones,Tom Riggio, Flip Walkley, Bruce Baird (Park Commission Representative), Frank Keeney (Burgess Representative)
